Meet Gregory Lanier
Greg teaches courses related to New Testament exegesis and interpretation, Greek, the Septuagint, textual criticism, and preaching at Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando. He is also an Associate Pastor at River Oaks Church and is ordained in the PCA. He lives in Oviedo with his wife, Kate, who is an optometrist, and their three daughters. Before moving to Florida, the Laniers lived in Cambridge, England, where Greg completed his doctorate, as well as Charlotte, NC, where he attended RTS Charlotte. He serves as co-chair of the Septuagint Studies program group of the Evangelical Theological Society.
Recognizing the challenges faced by busy pastors and laypeople, he created this website as a resource to maintain and enhance their Greek proficiency. His efforts are driven by a vision to see more christians equipped to read and interpret the Bible in its original language and fostering a richer understanding of God’s Word. He also hopes that the study of the Septuagint will open many doors for students to see connections between the Old Testament and the New Testament.
Meet Rob Plummer
Rob Plummer is a dedicated New Testament professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. With a fervent passion for the Greek language, Rob has inspired countless students to delve into the original texts of the New Testament. His commitment to teaching Greek stems from a desire to equip pastors and believers with the tools necessary to engage deeply with the scriptures. Through The Daily Dose of Greek, Rob provides a platform for ongoing learning and accountability, ensuring that the beauty and complexity of the Greek language remain accessible to all who seek it.

Meet Jonathan Ahlgren
My name is Jonathan Ahlgren, and I serve as the Webmaster/Administrator for the Daily Dose Ministry. In addition to helping with the Daily Dose ministry, I serve as the Associate Vice President for Online Learning at Southern Seminary. I am married to Hannah, and we have three children: Jude, Jubilee, and Hadassah.
